| Janesville Karaoke Idol Contest Rules For Contestants
1.) Contestants are judged in
two areas.
a.) Contestants singing ability
b.) Contestants showmanship
2.) You may sing any
style of music you wish (rock, pop, country, ect...)
"All will be judged equally".
3.) The score of the
judges will be final, audience opinion does not count (i.e.. applause),
but is appreciated.
4.) The contestants
from each qualifying night will advance to the semi-finals.
5.) If you don't
qualify one night of the qualifying nights you can return to try on another
qualifying night.
6.) Those
contestants advancing to the semi-finals must sing a different song for the
semi-finals
and a different song for the finals. (Just like The
American Idol Contest)
7.) All contestants
must use their real birth name (no nicknames) in any part of the contest.
8.) All contestants
must be 21 years of age or older.
Rules For Judges
1.) Must score all
contestants from 1 - 20 on singing ability.
Must score all contestants from 1
- 20 on showmanship.
2.) Must treat each
contestants equally (i.e. rock, pop, country, ect...)
Prizes
Bee-A-Star Karaoke wishes everyone good luck.
(Hint: Remember, you will be judged on showmanship also,
so live it up.)
(All prizes are final and are given by Road Dawgs Saloon and
Eatery.)
